(10/09/03) Analyst 1 - McMinnville, OR posted by on 09/30/03 Responsibilities include performing chemical analysis using validated analytical procedures, documenting analytical results, and general laboratory work in a FDA regulatory environment (GMP/GLP). The candidate will be required to function within the companys SOPs, execute test methods competently, and recognize and report aberrant results when they occur.

    The successful candidate will have a BS in Chemistry, BS / BA in a related science with 1 year of direct lab experience, or 8 years of direct work experience in an analytical lab for non-degree candidates. Undergraduate coursework in quantitative analysis, basic organic chemistry, acid/base equilibria, and chromatographic methods is strongly preferred. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and chromatography software is a plus.

    The position is located at our laboratory in McMinnville, OR, in the heart of the rich Willamette Valley just 40 miles southwest of Portland.
