Research Themes:– Our research programs are presently focused on the following themes: |

| (A) | ambifunctional catalysis based on heterocyclic biaryl templates; |
| (B) | development of a unified approach to asymmetric synthesis based on stereospecific reagent controlled homologation (StReCH) with enantioenriched chiral carbenoids; and |
| (C) |
design and execution of concise synthetic approaches to significant pseudo-symmetric natural product targets (e.g. sparteine, thebaine, artemisinin). |
