(Ch 1-4)
2. Primary Batteries: Focus on Alkaline and Lithium Cells (Ch 5-7)
3. Rechargeable Batteries: Focus on Lead Acid, Nickel Metal Hydride, and Lithium Ion Cells (Ch 8-12)
4. Energy Storage Alternatives: Capacitors, Fuel Cells, Current Issues and Projections
The class will include one take-home exam, and one required in-class presentation.
Grading is P/F.
