Symposium Program Overview

Building on the success of the first two meetings, a similar program of events is planned for the 3rd annual PNWURS, including:

• a one and a half day format

• thematically linked sessions of 15 min student lectures (with 5 min Q&A, e.g., see 2009 program)

• poster sessions during extended lunch periods

• key-note lectures from two eminent academic and industrial chemists:

• round table discussions during which key-note speakers talk about their scientific career tracks and answer questions

• various social mixers, including evening BBQ and an informal sporting event

The detailed program will be posted in early July 2010. In addition, the 2010 meeting will be held back to back with WSU's Donald S. Matteson Symposium. This will offer attending students the opportunity to experience a full professional one day meeting with a program full of prominent academic chemists before the PNWURS.
